Bookable on Westjet in January and February.  Valid Tuesdays and Thursdays.

At first I was skeptical, but this stuff works pretty good at helping out the digestive tract. After a pretty bad bout of food poisoning in Turkish Cyprus, and ingesting massive amounts of medicines, my digestive system simply wasn’t working up to par. I don’t want to get into too much detail, but lets just say that I had a problem. I suffered for the past 6 months and recently when I told my friend, he recommended the yogurt. After about 3 or 4 days, I’ve noticed a marked improvement. (again, I don’t want to get too specific)

It has a lot of sugar in it, so I doubt I’ll eat it permanently, but for a week or two after traveling, it does help. I’ll probably continue eating it for another week and then stop.

I hope this helps a little if you have the same problem.

Cheers.

AA: LAX-GUA (Guatamala City), $154++, Q

Well this is a fun one….

With one connection each way, it’s $252 all in. AA operates DFW-GUA on a 738 and MIA-GUA on the AB6.

Since this is an MPM fare (don’t know how much though… can someone else look it up?) routing is wide open… great for both mileage- and segment-runners.

One can upgrade a Q fare to Latin America…. good use of the glut of VIPs

Other rules:
-6 day adv
-$100 change fee
-Sun stay OR 3 day min from departure date (though ITA is pricing out with 1 day).
-….and yes, it’s bookable now on AA.com

I haven’t taken a look at it, but using the 24hr connection rule for int’l flights, one can visit all sorts of places and take all 763/772 domestic flights.

So overall, this is a pretty decent MR/SR in itself (esp since EXPs get FL access )

Here’s where it gets interesting… combine with the AA25X promo, fly LAX-ORD-DFW-GUA-vv twice for $290ai. What you get for each flight:

-~7800 EQM
-~7800 EXP/PLT bonus
-12,500 AA25X bonus (prorated)
=================
= ~1.04cpm (+ FL access + domestic widebodies)

How do you like them apples!?

Visit Guatemala twice for a total of $504 and you get a little bit over 60k miles.  That’s enough for a free RT ticket to Asia.

The example is from Washington, but this will work from many cities.

$302 + $121 taxes & fees = $423 per person

Studies confirm that men prefer attractive women

Well Duh.

Sorry I’ve been neglecting this site.  I’ve been pretty busy launching 2 websites back to back.  If you get a chance, come on by.   I still have some finishing up to do on the second site so please be patient.  I have gotten a copy of Dreamweaver and am trying to figure it out.  It seems a lot easier than hand coding, but I still have some questions.  Does anyone want to volunteer to teach me dreamweaver?
Cheers.

I don’t know what to think anymore.  I’m shocked!  The federal government is considering requiring papers for DOMESTIC travel.  Here is the news link from CNN.

I’m not exactly a complete liberal, but the federal government is getting a bit too “big brother” for my tastes.  We’re on the verge of a steep slippery slope.  I suppose if it does become a reality, I’ll have lived with restrictions like how the Soviets did in the 80’s or in Nazi Germany.  When I get, “Your papers please,” from a government employee for domestic travel is the day I start to find other citizenship.  It’s the first step…and not the direction I want to raise a family in.

What they are doing is NOT American and those who implement it are not patriots, but instead tyrants.   Our founding fathers must be turning over in their graves if they even knew we were considering this.

“They that can give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”- Ben Franklin
